Bereavement Notice – Father of Umpire Mr. Mangesh Rane

The USACUA Executive committee regrets to inform its membership that the father of Umpire and Assistant Secretary of the USACUA Mr. Mangesh Rane, has passed away due to an heart attack. He was 77.

Mr. Rane is from the Massachusetts State Cricket League based in the Boston Metro area.

The Committee sends it sincere condolences to Mr. Rane and his family that this time for their loss.

USACUA Founding Member Mr. Lloyd G. Scott passes away

The President and the Executives of USACUA wish to inform the membership that one of the Founding Members of USACUA, Mr. Lloyd G. Scott has passed away.

Mr. Scott passed away last night (June 5th, 2018) while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Long Island, New York. It was through the insight and dedication of Mr. Scott that USACUA was formed and grew to its present state. Mr. Scott served USACUA unconditionally as President for a number of years. As a founder member his contributions to USACUA is innumerable. He was an avid lover of cricket and sought to provide guidance to anyone long after his playing days had ended.

Personally, Mr. Scott was a wealth of information and made himself available whenever called upon to provide constructive criticism. The name of Mr. Lloyd G. Scott will always remain etched in the annals of USACUA. Details regarding the final rites for Mr. Lloyd Scott will be made available in due course. His presence on this earth will surely be missed but never forgotten. USACUA has definitely lost a founding member of the highest quality.

Bereavement Notice – Umpire Mr. Bradford Porter

Regretfully, the USACUA Executive Committee informs it membership that long-standing member of our Association Umpire Mr. Bradford Porter has passed away. Mr. Porter served the Tri-State cricketing fraternity for a very long period. He performed his duties as a member of USACUA and the Tri-State cricketing fraternity with due diligence.

Mr. Porter will be missed but not forgotten. The President and Executives and Members of USACUA would like to extend to the relatives and friends of Mr. Bradford Porter their sincere condolences.
