Who are the Training Officers?

USACUA Chief Training Officer is Mr. Mohammed N. Baksh. He personally conducts training in New York City (Brooklyn or Queens).

Regionally, there are others who are authorized to conduct the training.

How long is the training sessions?

USACUA conducts umpiring training every year starting in January through April. They are generally held on weekends for around 14 weeks, culminating in the Annual examinations conducted by USACUA and WICUA.

Each session is around 4 hours.

There are regional training sessions, including online sessions for current and prospective umpires to enroll into.

It is required that all umpires attend these training sessions.
